My mom used to put a little hydrogen peroxide on a Q-tip, dab that on the sore, let it bubble for a while, and then wipe off the hp with the other end of the Q-tip. I think it worked, but we had to be careful not to taste the hp. <BR/>2. The way I have found to work best is to brush the sore with toothpaste somewhat aggressively. It hurts some, but it cleans out the germs and the sore heals quickly.
