Married? Sheesh!

I am pretty sure Jake's reaction is akin to my brother, Tommy's, friends when they got the news yesterday that he is getting married. Some of his friends have been married long enough to hold him in high regard for being in his late 30's and having "held off". That all changed on Mother's Day when he proposed to the gf.

We are all very excited about the upcoming wedding. They are throwing around places, ideas, etc already.

My question to you is, if you could have a destination wedding, where would you go? It can be in this country or not. Let's hear some ideas, so I can have some control over when and where the wedding will be!

*Edited due to my mom's negative reaction.

I used to think I would want some place warm and sunny, but now I know I would glow in my white skin. Then I thought about Spain, but the women there are all about sensuality, and I'm not so much. Maybe I would go some place snowy where I could wear a snowmobile suit, but then I'd be cold. Obviously, if I were getting married again I'd have to call off the wedding.

Why did he choose Mother's Day? Are they announcing something?

Congrats to your brother and his bride-to-be. Unfortunately even though he proposed on Mom's Day, since the actual date changes annually, he may not be able to remember the exact date in the future, and there will be a test.

Destination wedding? Maybe Ireland or some tropical beach warm.

He's such a punk.

Shall I scold him in a Haiku?

Aww! Congrats to them!

If C & I could do it over, we would have a destination wedding with a cruise or a a cool Mexico beach thing for sure!

I once attended a biker wedding in the middle of a corn field. Leather, a bunch of bikes revving after the I do's and children of the corn looming in the background - so romantic. I'm not sure that's what you're asking for but it's all that comes to mind. Sorry.

If I were getting married (Yes, married!) to an oily bo-hunk, I'd do it in the Turks & Caicos. In a hot minute. (google it!)
