Lick Cancer

As I had mentioned before, my brother rode in the Pan Mass Challenge this weekend. That is riding a bike from Sturbridge Mass. to Provincetown, Mass. It was 192 miles over 2 days. His team of about 35 men and women was called Lick Cancer and their symbol was a Rolling Stones tongue.

He raised over $7500 for Dana Farber Hospital, therefore getting to wear the special "heavy hitter" pants on day one. He rocks and I just wanted everyone to know how proud of him I am!
Yay, Tommy!!

I am sorry that your family has been so impacted by cancer, but it's so neat how you all work to raise money and awareness. You guys really are survivors more than victims :)

I was on the Cape last summer cycling in Provincetown the day the Pan Mass Challenge ended there. Bikes. Volunteers. Families. Everywhere!

It's quite the accomplishment to raise that much money. Nice job.

That is awesome. My step-dad was a patient at Dana Farber many years ago and he is still cancer free!

How awesome it must be to live on/in Cape Cod! I saw your nice comment about me on Wendi's EZ school supplies giveaway & just wanted to say thanks! :)

Awesome job!

and hey, is it me, or do those heavy-hitters shorts look like a Rubics Cube?

Tommy's outfit did look like a rubic's cube! He thought it looked like the Partridge family's bus!

Wow, that's fabulous. The mother of a friend participates in that.

I don't think my bum could handle two hard days of bike riding.
