Wow! My first thought too - do you get long distance radio stations!
I started dying my hair red two years ago. I really didn't have gray hair then I had just always wanted red hair. I have kept my color up religiously every month.
Now this is the first time I have gone two months in between colorings - I now have a good half inch of grow-out, and it's got LOTS of gray/white in it! IT'S FREAKING ME OUT, MAN!!!!
Yes, the ladies that work at the shop can be very...um...not touist or native friendly for that matter. I called them on it a couple years ago. I explained nicely that I had been going there sine way before 1. they worked there and 2. there ever was a Cape Cod bracelet and I don't think any one needed to be treated that way. She may have been sheepish at least until I left. :)
Why do we put ourselves through this for the sake of beauty?!?!

Hee! Love it. I just bought a box-o-color, and I'm kinda scared to use it. (I turned my hair purple once in college.)
