I was upstairs clearing off my bed of all the folded laundry from the past few days (weeks) and I was listening to K and B watch the Olympics. (I LOVE the Olympics by the way).
B: "Ooh, look at their Johns".
K: "Their Johns stick out in those tight pants."
B+K, "John this, John that".
I came downstairs and said "What are you guys talking about?"
K: "You know, their Johns. B said that was the name of their privates and that is why they call long johns, long johns."
Moral of the story: Don't always believe what a 9 year old tells you.
I. had. no. idea.
No more Olympics for my nine year old!
I just read this to Dave and he said (laughing) "I have no idea where B gets half the SH*T she says" :)SO FUNNY! By the way - what WAS the "special" ingredients in those brownies?! :)
As the mom of 4 boys and one girl, I've heard more slangs for schlongs than you could shake a stick at...
(try saying THAT 5 times fast!)
Kids are sooo funny sometimes!
Well...they do have some impressive Johns!
Or at least they APPEAR to!
That's hilarious! And "John" sounds a whole lot nicer than what they COULD have been saying!
I'm slowly catching up on blog reading...I will be posting backwards...
This is so funny! I found your blog through Suburban Scrawl. I live on the North Shore, Ma. so looking forward to seeing how the South Shore lives!
that's hilarious! and I think I may have to adopt the term (though maybe not the reasoning behind it). It's certainly a better term than "wang". ;)
