Picture this: Me sleeping like a baby.
6am: Noise in hallway
Bobby: "Someone is up."
Me: "Probably K." I text her and find out that she was up getting water. Roll over to go back to sleep.
Bobby: "Who's Michael Jenkins?"
Me: "What?"
Bobby: "Who's Michael Jenkins? He wrote you a love letter."
Me: "What the hell are you talking about?"
Bobby: "Michael Jenkins wrote you a love letter and left it on our bed."
Me: "Are you sleep talking? I have no idea what you are talking about."
Bobby: "No, I had a dream that a guy named Michael Jenkins left you a mooshy love letter on our bed."
Me: "Oh, a dream. Glad we solved that mystery."
Bobby: "So, who is he?"
Me: "Good Lord."

Dream a Little Blog?
Blogging is a funny thing.
Profound, right?
I have lots to say, but it is of things I cannot talk about without making people angry or embarrassed. Take the whole teenager/tween thing. I have lots of things to say about that, but won't because my girls and my nephews would be horrified knowing that "private things" are out in cyberspace.
I could talk about my ex and his girlfriend, but that wouldn't be taking the "higher road".
I could talk about my family, but they know where I live.
So what does that leave my to talk/write about? My dreams.
Last night I had a dream where B brought me an ice cream cake into my bed and we ate it with our fingers and got chocolate sprinkles all over the place. As I was dreaming this I was thinking, now this is something I can blog about!
My dreams have always been very vivid to the point where I have written them down for 2 weeks at a time and shown them to my therapist and got the raised eyebrow. Once in college, I was taking a psychology course on something that had to do with dreams and earliest memories. The prof asked if we remembered our dreams past the waking up stage. I said, "Oh sure, I can remember the for weeks or sometimes forever depending on the dream." Another raised eyebrow. I guess you are suppose to forget your dreams immediately.
Maybe I will pretend to have a dream and talk about things I am not "allowed" to talk about just to get some of these stories out. Some are pretty amusing. Damn morals.
Perhaps I will just go back to bed to see what I can dream up.

Dream a Little Dream....
I've officially lost it. I had a dream the other night about the Jonas Brothers.
For all you psych majors out there, yes I remember my dreams and yes they are usually quite complex. I think I scared one of my college professors describing a dream to her once. Actually I think she quickly retired immediately after that semester.
Anyway, back to the Jo-Bros. They were at my grandparents house that was on Lake Winnepesauke in NH. For real, my grandparents used to live on the lake, their front lawn, leading to a beach, a dock and the lake. In my dream, my aunt and uncle from Michigan were there, my brother, sister, but not my kids. That would have been too good to be true! The dream would have been about them passing out not me passing gas.
That's right, in my dream I was talking to Kevin Jonas and farted. Then I had that awkward thought of do I say "excuse me" or do I say "must have been the dog, my uncle, my brother..." I am not sure what I decided to do, but I am sure I was horrified. Then the next thing I knew I was diving off the dock and swimming around.
Any dream analysers out there? How embarrassing farting in front of the JO-bros. My kid's would have thrown me under a bus, literally.
