Overheard in Kindergarten today:
"Is the penthouse open for free play?"
(we have a loft in the classroom)
Teacher holding up a picture of a Native American, "Does anyone know who this is?"
Kids, "An Indian".
Teacher, "OK, I am looking for another word also."
One child, "Chinese".
"Can you open my banana?"
